Viola, Violin, Piano, Cello
Sarah Grujic, is a college graduate from the College of Southern Nevada with a degree in Fine Arts Music Performance, Sarah is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Music Performance at the University of Las Vegas. Sarah teaches violin, viola, piano and cello.
Sarah's musical journey began at 6 years of age, leading her to study at the prestigious Conservatory Vancouver Symphony Orchestral Institute. She has performed at esteemed venues such as Anaheim Walt Disney Records, The Smith Center for the Las Vegas Youth Orchestra Philharmonic, Las Vegas Young Artist Program, The 2024 Apple Music Performance, and The Southern Nevada Musical Arts, Presently, she serves as the principal violist for the College of Southern Nevada at the Nicolas J Horn Theatre Hall, and is a violist for the Henderson Symphony Orchestra. In addition to her performance career, Sarah has previously taught group and private lessons in the Las Vegas area and has conducted group lessons at various schools in Las Vegas. She also teaches composition, enriching her students with a thorough understanding of music creation. Her extensive knowledge of music theory and composition allows her to provide a comprehensive musical education to her students.
Sarah has been honored with the Joe Williams Scholarship and the Sphinx Hispanic Latinx Scholar Fund, recognizing her exceptional talent and dedication. She has been privileged to study and perform masterclasses with renowned musicians including Jiwon Sun, Omar Shelly, Carlene San Fillipio, and James Harvey. Drawing inspiration from these mentors, she has developed a rich and diverse repertoire that spans classical, baroque, romantic, and contemporary music.
Sarah works closely with her students to help them build a strong foundation in music theory and performance. Her goal is to cultivate not only technical proficiency but also a deep appreciation for the art of music. She believes that music can enrich lives and is committed to making learning accessible and engaging for everyone, from young beginners to adult learners who are rediscovering their love for music.
