Christian Romo

Christian Romo holds a Bachelors in Music Composition from Pepperdine University and is currently seeking his Masters in Music Composition from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He teaches piano, voice, trombone, ukulele, music theory and composition.
Mr. Romo pulls from a background in applied voice, choral singing, vocal jazz, wind ensemble-low brass, jazz-low brass, music composition and music theory. He has toured overseas singing choral music as a vocal bass and is an inaugurated member of the Pi Kappa Lambda College Music Society. Mr. Romo has also had his compositional works premiered by the Mary Pickford New Music Ensemble and the Pepperdine Wind Ensemble, and was a selected collegiate music theory tutor and directive assistant for the Mary Pickford New Music Ensemble from 2022-2024.
Mr. Romo's teaching philosophy is one of communication and understanding; a collaboration between student and teacher to assist those in his studio achieve and surpass their musical goals. Students in Mr. Romo's studio will develop solid rudiments in their discipline, while also gaining a deeper understanding of music and its theory in order to transform them into competent and effective musicians.
