Aaron Oberlander

Aaron Oberlander is a lyric baritone and pianist currently pursuing his Master of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance with a focus in Pedagogy from the University of Houston. As an active performer, he has collaborated with UNLV Opera Theatre, Las Vegas Master Singers, Moores Opera Center, Mercury Early Music Chamber Ensemble, Santa Rosa Symphonic Chorus, and Operativo Houston.

With a deep passion for both performance and education, Mr. Oberlander has been teaching voice and piano since 2018, working with students of all ages and skill levels. His teaching experience spans operatic, choral, musical theater, and contemporary genres, allowing him to tailor lessons to each student’s unique needs and goals. He believes in fostering a personal connection to music, emphasizing artistic freedom while maintaining a sense of fun and exploration in every lesson.

Mr. Oberlander’s approach to teaching is rooted in patience, adaptability, and a strong technical foundation. Whether guiding beginners through their first steps in music or helping advanced students refine their technique and artistry, he strives to create an engaging, supportive learning environment. His goal is to help students develop not just as musicians but as expressive, confident artists who carry their love for music throughout their lives.
