Doorstep Music Lessons Refund Policy

At Doorstep Music Lessons, we are committed to providing a convenient and exceptional music education experience. We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and you may need to make adjustments to your lesson schedule. To ensure transparency and clarity, we've outlined our refund policy as follows:

1. First-Month Tuition Refund:

   • Your first-month tuition is refundable if you cancel your lessons up to 24 hours prior to your first scheduled lesson. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we're here to accommodate your needs.

2. Tuition Refunds After the First Lesson:

   • If you cancel lessons less than 24 hours before your first scheduled lesson or after the first lesson has taken place, tuition is non-refundable. We're committed to providing consistent music education, and your tuition secures your lesson time with our experienced teachers. You are welcome to finish out your month with the teacher.

3. Non-Refundable Registration Fee:

   • The one-time registration fee is non-refundable. This fee supports administrative processes and secures your place in our music school. Once paid, the registration fee is not subject to refunds.

4. Cancellation and Lesson Completion:

   • Cancellations must be made according to our Terms of Service.

   • If you decide to cancel your lessons within a month, you may choose to finish your regularly scheduled lessons with your teacher at the time that you cancel plus any make up lessons your teacher owes you consistent with our teacher cancellation policy, or you may choose to mark the lessons as family cancellations consistent with our family cancellation policy.

   • Your time slot will be made available to new students starting on the 1st day of the following month. Your time slot may be made available to other students sooner if you choose to mark your remaining lessons as family cancellations.

   • Because of our teacher's busy schedules and the fact that your time slot will be made available to other students, lessons cannot be "banked" for future use on a return date, including make up lessons owed.

5. Transfer of Tuition:

   • You may transfer tuition to another student within the school as long as they are currently enrolled. Tuition is specifically allocated for enrolled students and their lessons. Tuition payments cannot be transferred to someone not enrolled in Doorstep Music Lessons.

6. Love Your Teacher Guarantee:

   • Your satisfaction is important to us. If, for any reason, you find that you don't love your assigned teacher, we offer our Love Your Teacher Guarantee. We will pair you with another teacher at no additional charge to ensure you have the best learning experience possible.
