My tuition stayed the same but there was a School-wide holiday; why is that?

Our job is to make tuition as simple as possible for families. Our tuition is a flat monthly rate that stays the same every month. We do not bill on a per-lesson basis. This is a benefit we offer to our families so tuition is not more expensive one month vs another month. Here's how we're able to do it!

There are 52 weeks in a year; our school is open for 48 weeks. Every year, we have four months that have five weeks in them. Every year, we also have four Holiday Weeks (Thanksgiving, Winter Holiday - 2 weeks, and Spring Break). These are times when no lessons are scheduled to take place for the entire school, so students get to enjoy time with their family, and nothing needs to be made up.

Because there are four months with an extra week every year, and there are four holiday weeks, that balances out for you. 4 months with +1 lesson, 4 months with -1 lesson; it's the same every year. So, when we calculate tuition, we take the entire year which is 48 weeks of lessons and divide that by 12 months, making it the same for you every single month-- never any surprises.

You are never missing any lessons, as the lessons were taught/will be taught in a 5-week month when you were/are not charged more.
